He knows that much disaster and medical relief is still needed for the victims of the April and May earthquakes that took place in the country of Nepal in 2015. He has set up a Go Fund Me account in order to raise $10,000. Once he raises the money, he will donate it to a crowdrise campaign. The crowdrise campaign has been especially set up with the goal of raising $1 million for individuals who have suffered as a result of the earthquakes in Nepal.

This earthquake caused hundreds of thousands of buildings and homes to crumble. It resulted in more than 9,000 deaths and 22,000 injuries. Sadly, many strong aftershocks occurred. In fact, on May 12, a 7.3 earthquake rocked the country again. This led to even more devastation, death, and injuries. Majeed Ekbal knows that the money he will raise will be of great help to individuals who are still suffering as a result of the earthquakes in Nepal. He has been personally donating money to the crowdrise campaign.
