There has been much speculation about Hilliary Clinton running for president in recent years. She’s proven to be just as politically ambitions and capable as her husband Bill, and her time as Senator and Secretary of State have proven that. She was even a contender for a short time in 2008. Even when Bill was president and she was first lady, there was speculation about her running for president. In fact, many people joked that she ran her husband’s presidency.
Now even more fuel to the fire has been added to her running for president again. Marcio Alaor BMG knows that she continues to tease supporters about a bid for a presidential run in 2016. During a speech at Emily’s List 30th Anniversary Conference and Gala in Washington, D.C., Tuesday night, she made numerous hints that she was running or was at least considering a run, including hinting that she and other women had important things to consider including “whether or not to run for President” and asking her supporters if they thought it was time for a woman president, as well as saying that she wanted to see more women in political offices.
All of these statements taken individually might not add up to more than a progressive, feminist woman giving a speech to a group of like minded individuals. When taken as a whole they definitely sound like she is planning on running, especially considering a top aide has hinted that he will be running her campaign soon.
